None of the cartridges I received had the orange tab on the end to keep them fresh. So even though they were sealed in a bag, they only lasted a couple of weeks with very little printing. Will buy direct from manufacture from here on out.Works well, wish they cost less, but as other cartridges go the price is ok. And they don't seem to last as long as they used to.There are two Brother part number for this ink: LC107BK is a single high-capacity cartridge, LC1072PKS is a 2-pack of the same ink.You can see both if you search for "lc107bk" on the Amazon website, but if you click on the links, they both go to this same page which says LC1072PKS, yet has a photo of a single cartridge, but says 2-pack in the product description. Same issue if I use my order history as I bought a single cartridge in 2014 and a 2-pack this time. This time I ordered LC1072PKS (2-pack) but received a single cartridge and had to do a return. Trying to figure out how to communicate the problem to AmazonI tried generics and knock-offs and keep coming back to Brother. They just work in my MFC-J4510DW printer. The ink generally lasts 4-6 months so I don't mind the extra cost too much. I sense they get about the advertised number of pages out of them, but more when printing simple text and less when picture heavy projects come through. Print quality is excellent and never any printer errors/failures with this brand.Bought the product made by Brother fir my brother printer. They alway fit and work well. Ink is just very expensive.Box brokenThese are genuine Brother Innobella Ink Cartridges! They only cost about 65% of the retail price! DO NOT USE THE CHEAP SO CALLED "BROTHER COMPATIBLE" INK CARTRIDGES! They can clog up your printer heads! I had to scrap my previous one year old Brother printer in which I used the cheap Brother compatible cartridges I bought on Amazon. They clogged up the printer heads! I tried cleaning the heads numerous times using the printer's cleaning system, which used up numerous cartridges, but they would not unclog. I then tried to clean the heads using a cleaning solution kit but still could not clean them. I HAD TO BUY A NEW PRINTER! I learned my lesson the hard way and now will only buy genuine Brother ink catridges as recommended by Brother!I bought these LC107 cartridges because they are supposed to hold large amounts of ink. Well, the cartridges were physically fatter (max size that will fit in my printer) but lasted less than standard ones bought locally from brick mortar store.I'm not sure if these are genuine. I've used up both already. And my printer use is casual. A print or two, couple of times a week.Neither cartridge worked with our brother printer yet we've purchased and used in the past. Past the return date as we were waiting for our last black to run out. Sad to waste so much money.The printer is designed to keep the heads clean so it uses the ink every week even if you don't print anything. Can get really expensive for nothing if you barely print anything.
