They admitted they only work sometimes and have to be replaced (brand new) often. This product is still in development, so know you are taking a gamble when you purchase it.Beautiful full page colorful photos. Feels quality, not thin wont tear easily.This ultra compact printer uses a standard HP print head and you print to it from a smartphone app. It works by detecting the motion of a roller as you move it horizontally to scan the print area.Think of the program as a label printer program. The print area is limited; it's an inkjet, so it has the same limitations as a standard HP inkjet printer -- except you don't need to put the surface you print on between rollers. There are applications, however the ink won't permanently stick to most surfaces. Don't even think of using it for temporary tattoos, for instance.In the end I think it's way too much of a one trick pony to justify its high price, unless you have a very specific application it's perfect for (printing a color company logo onto a bunch of folders, for instance).Overall, meh.I use mine to put little cute "sticker" like pics on letters and correspondence. It's easy to use and fast, and prints in color! I like it!Absolutely gorgeous pictures! It’s exactly what I wanted!This is a neat little printer. It is easy to operate. You do need to download an app. The software is easy to use once you get used to it. The printer works great (simple images). There is an adjustment period (of course). I wish it came with an alignment plate which would make it easier to get things straight and know when the image will start printing. The instructions state it comes with alignment plate, but one is not included. I have only done a couple of test tries so far (lack of time to play with it). I am looking forward to experimenting with the printer to see what all it can do. This will be great for giving plain cards or gift bags a little pizzazz.Out of the box this was very easy to operate, the app worked perfectly (which was great cause I have had many problems in the past with other apps and their devices). It took a bit of trial and error to get running right with the new ink cartridge, and I smeared the head on accident once, though I was easily able to clean it with the included tools and instructions.This is great, it’s like a label maker but your hand is the printer. Resolution wise it is fine you can do simple images with no issue such as solid logos or label art. The app is amazing has all the editing tools you might need if you had no software of your own. Personally I did a design 4-5 times on a piece of paper before printing on the desired object, as sometimes the ink is not ready or will roll poorly, also it took me a while to understand how far it had to roll before the image began. Included is some primer for slippery surfaces which is cool, but I wish that this came with the alignment plate mentioned by the manual as a few of my “one shot” prints came out angled due to my unsteady hands.Overall this is a great little tool, I don’t know about T-shirts, or metal, but boxes and envelopes which are practical uses for me, are perfect for this little device.
