This printer worked just fine upon first use, but after about six months it's quality has lowered dramatically. Now every page has missing lines of ink and some pages are missing black entirely, despite my reserves being full. I've run all the diagnostics I'm able to but the real problem lies in the user interface. The app's diagnostic section won't tell you anything useful and will make you print pages over and over again to check the print quality, wasting a great deal of ink simply to see if you have ink. Side note: I still can't find the print queue, which should be the most accessible thing, but it seems impossible and keeps printing pages that I've already finished and/or canceled! The printer being obstinate is one thing, but the user interface/diagnostic system/IT videos aren't helpful! On top of the print quality being incredibly hit or miss, the real issue lies in the fact that it WILL NOT link to new wifi. I've looked it up and tried every method to add this ~entirely wifi based~ printer to my new network, but like most other commenters' reviews on HP's videos, it seems impossible for my printer to update its connection. This is by far the most frustrating part because, unlike the ink/diagnostic issue, the only solution is to link to the printer directly to my computer via its wifi, which makes finding the print tedious at best and finding help when it inevitably messes up practically impossible. The app is already not very user-friendly and even less so with no wifi connection.I'm very frustrated with this printer because it started off just fine! But beyond the basics of starting out every other instructional pamphlet/video has been redundant and/or much more complicated than advertised. And that's if the initial steps work at all.Not happy with my experience, honestly wish they just update their app to be more user-friendly and helpful when the printer or wifi isn't connected. It's such a hassle just to connect to the printer that it makes every little thing as difficult as possible.Thank you for reading my rant, this printer has frustrated me a great deal and my issues with it go well beyond any physical issue with ink. Hoping this helps someone decide if they want it and hope HP somehow updates the software to actually be as accessible as advertised.
